The prostate is the forgotten gland. Most males would spend their entire life not knowing anything about their prostate or at least knowing that there is a prostate in their body until they feel hesitation in urination and a doctor states “your prostate is enlarged..!“.
The prostate is a vital organ for the male population that requires its own nutrition and supplementation. It's daily nourishment starts at maturity not at age 55 yrs. It is located below the urinary bladder on the central line of all males. It is almost the size of a walnut and weighs approximately 15 grams. Its vitality stems from its function.
The Function of the Prostate
The gland houses the urethra within its tissue secretes an alkaline milky fluid (improves fertility by neutralizing vaginal acidity), stores alkaline fluid released by the prostate (helps sperm motility and longevity), Proactive Measures. The following is not a prescription to any person. You should consult with your physician who will guide you according to your specific health. Many males neglect to communicate with respect to their prostate at a younger age. I emphasize the following to all males regardless of their health condition:
use zinc citrate on daily basis after 3o years of age, smokers should start checking their PSA every year starting at the age of 35, non-smokers should start checking their PSA and EN2 every year starting at the age of 40.
Disease of the Prostate
The prostate is known to fall victim to several diseases namely acute and chronic prostatitis.
- Acute Prostatitis is blamed on bacterial causes and it is treated based on the its causative agent.
- Chronic Prostatitis is also blamed on bacterial causes and it is treated based on its causative agent. The word chronic here may indicate either that the prostate was treated with whatever treatment for a prolonged time and is still under the same thought and treatment or it was neglected for the longest time and the person just realized that treatment is imminent.
- Chronic prostatitis, a non-bacterial prostate condition (pelvic pain syndrome) and this condition is treated according to its causative agent, Chronic prostatitis that triggers a condition referred to Leukocytosis (an increase in Leukocyte defined as primarily neutrophil).
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) a condition that leads to prostatic enlargement Prostatic cancer with PSA between 4 -10
Acute and chronic bacterial prostate conditions are diagnosed using a urine test. On the other hand, a malignant cancer condition is diagnosed with index-rectal examination, PSA value and prostate cancers protein secretion Engrailed-2 (EN2).
Acute and chronic prostatitis of bacterial nature should be treated with an anti-bacterial treatment plus a mandatory treatment for an underlying fungal infection that is almost always part of the infection.
In fact, I feel that chronic cases of prostatitis; most likely, became chronic because the fungal issue was not considered in the first place. Every case must be considered according to its own merits.
Malignant cases must be treated as soon as being diagnosed. A base line of blood work of PSA and a urine test of EN2 should be established before treatments. Lab work should be repeated every month until the condition being treated reaches a healthier status. The treatment should be a daily oral treatment and weekly intravenous treatments. The treatment must hinge on symptoms and lab results. Depending on severity, intravenous treatments could be performed once a week, twice a week or three times a week.
